1) AC powered DCRU Reverse Units for DC Motors
1.5 Volt directional lights with plug in cable (for use with all DCRUs) are available for $10 each.
Marker
light power can also be added to any DCRU: $9.50 Disadvantage is that
the lamps go off at every Reverse Button press, unlike the sound
board's marker light output, which stays on until the sound system
shuts off.
1a) Diesel DC motored Reverse units
The DCRU-MBD is a compact version of the DCRU-WD which fits in any diesel, including jeeps.
RU-107C DCRU-MBD: $40. This is the same as the original DCRU-MB, used by Duddy and Right-of-Way.
Comes with 4 different colors of 6-8 leads depending upon your requirements.
You can request a 2nd power lead and/or a 2nd ground lead.
Dimensions: 2.46" L, 1.32" W, 1.54" H at highest point.
Mounting
hole is down 0.49" from top of relays (Opposite dimension is 0.89"from
opposite edge), centered along the width and set back from the edge
0.84" Mounting hole clearance from the relays is 0.44".
Clearance between the relays and the center of the mounting hole is 0.44".
Comes with a 3/4" 4-40 pan head
screw, 1 1/4" #4 spacer and 1 4-40 nut. The resultant height makes the
mounting surface flush with the tops of the relays.
It can be mounted to the chassis or a bracket of your choice.
Current capacity is 2.0 Amps.

DCRU-WS come with a black 4 wire tether terminate in a 4-pin Molex plug
that is common on
MTH, Williams, Weaver and some Lionel steamers.
Note: The Lionel socket is wired differently than the other brands, which are all common.
All DCRU-WSx have R Directional 1.5 Volt lighting capability.

UPGRADING MOTOR CURRENT CAPACITY OF YOUR DCRUs:
The DCRU-MBx
DCRU-MBx was designed for the
precision Pittman low current motors such as the ones used in
the Duddy and Right-of-Way locos.
Current capacity is 2.0 Amps.
Hi-I increase current option of 6 Amps: $30, can be added to the -MBx units.
RU-107C DCRU-MBD Hi-I: $70.
RU-107D DCRU-MBS HI-i; $70.
1/2 Hi-I not available for the RU-107C or D series.
1b1) DCRU-Wx 1/2 Hi-I Upgrade from 3.0 AMPS to 5.0 Amps DC.
Has 1 Bridge Rectifier connected by 2 8" long leads for chassis mounting. Includes Mounting Hardware.
1b2) DCRU-Wx Hi-I Upgrade from 3.0 Amps to 6 AMP DC.
Has 2 Bridge Rectifies connected by 5 8" long leads for chassis mounting. Includes Mounting Hardware.

2) Specify number of rubber tires on loco, i.e. 0, 2 or 4.
Specify if tender has a pickup roller on it.
Either of these items makes a customization necessary for satisfactory performance of your DCRU. No Charge.
The
assumption is that lack of any info means that your loco has either 0
or 2 rubber tires and the tender has no center rail pickup.
3) Adder for Marker Light power to any DCRU: $9.50. Change WS to WSM
Not availble on the DCRU-MB.
Maker Light power can be obtained from the QSI sound board.
Must use a series resistor of a least 200 Ohms to prevent micro Processor destruction.
Either Marker Light supply will power 2 LEDs.
All DCRU-WSx come with black leads and 4-pin Molex plug, mates to loco's built in Molex socket.
Gotcha!: Lionel locos built by Samhongsa have opposite polarity and reversed M/F configured Molex 4-pin plugs/sockets.
4) DC Motored Locos without socket, add 4 wire M/F plug to DCRU-WSx $15.00
5) For the OEM version of any DCRU, subtract $11.25 ea. Add suffix OEM
