Payment Choices
1) Checks
Personal, Business, Cashier's, Certified, Money Order
Any
overpayment is refunded by check at time of shipment.
Signature receipt is
optional at customer request for Check and Money Order Payments.
2) Pay Pal
2a) Via Pay Pal account transfers
(Membership required)
by emailing your request to STR with your Pay Pal email name, and responding to a Pay Pal invoice sent by STR. 2b) Credit/Debit cards
(Membership not required)
by emailing your request to STR and then
by responding to a Pay Pal invoice sent by STR
using your email namethen you supplying your credit card info directly to Pay Pal.

3) Provide STR with you card info for one of
The 3 credit cards that Pay Pall supports for STR:
Visa, Master Card, Discover
All credit/debit card payments,
including Pay Pal
processed payments
require an Adult Signature for all shipments.
4) Information required for STR to process your credit/debit
card payment:
Name, as it
appears on your CC
CC billing address
Card
Number
Expiration Date
CID Number (3
digits on back of the 3 specified cards.
Shipping
address, if different than billing address.
Either mail or call in this information.
Do NOT send it by email, as
email is NOT secure.
Product
paid by either Pay Pal or direct credit card is shipped when the funds
appear in STR's bank account, usually in 2-3 days after entry.
5) STR does not extend credit.
All payments are made up front before goods and services are shipped.
Your credit card's bank is your source for extended credit.
6) STR will hold repaired items for up to
3 months without a deposit,
12 months with a deposit.
Note: Shipping rates can change during the holding period.
After the above noted period, the customer will forfeit his/her deposit and the item(s) disposed of in whatever manner STR sees fit.
7) Minimum Service Charge policy:
The minimum service charge on any invoice is $30 plus return
shipping, handling, etc.
Any expenses in excess of $30 overrides the
minimum service charge.
8) Insurance
coverage:
Your personal property insurance
will be your coverage for your loco while at STR.
9) Pricing policy:
All
prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping, Insurance and
Signature charges are actual costs paid by STR.
Minimum Handling for
unpacking - packing orders for shipment is $3.00.
Note: AMX was dropped due to their increased charging fees.
