Payment policy: 1) STR accepts all forms of payments provided by Pay Pal. Pay Pal offers Customer Balance Transfers to Merchants, and Credit & Debit cards handled by American Express, Discover, Visa, and Master Card.
As an STR customer, you can 2) as a Pay Pal member, authorize Pay Pal to use either your credit, debit card or Pay Pal balance to make a payment to STR. After obtaining the amount from STR, a) either by phone or email, or b) by having STR send a request via Pay Pal to you for payment have Pay Pal direct the amount to STR by using STR's web site/Pay Pal email name: Sales-Service@The-Scaled-Tin-Rail.com

3) Provide information to STR for handling your credit/debit card payment. Information required for STR to process your credit cad payment: Name, as it appears on your CC CC billing address Card Number Expiration Date CID Number (4 Digits on front of AMX), 3 digits on back of the other 3 cards. Shipping address, if different than billing address.
Either fax or call in this information. Do NOT send it by email, as email is NOT secure.
Product
paid by either Pay Pal or direct credit card is shipped when the funds
appear in STR's bank account, usually in 2-3 days after entry.
All credit/debit card payments, including Pay Pal
processed payments require an Adult Signature for all shipments.
4) STR also accepts Checks and Money Orders drawn on US banks. Product paid by USPS Money Order is shipped in 1 day following deposit. Money Orders are shipped in 5 business days. Products paid by Ck are shipped 14 says after check is deposited to allow ample time for check to clear.
Signature receipt is optional at customer request for Check and Money Order Payments.
Any overpayment is refunded by check at time of shippment.
5) Minimum Service Charge policy: The minimum service charge on any invoice is $30 plus return shipping, handling, etc. Any expenses in excess of $30 overrides the minimum service charge.
6) Insurance coverage: Your personal property insurance will be your coverage for your loco while at STR.
7) Pricing policy: All prices are subject to change without notice. Shipping, Insurance and Signature charges are actual costs paid by STR. Minimum Handling for packing orders for shipment is $3.00.
8) Refund policy: For
less that 30 days, receive full purchase price paid for product(s). Shipping and credit card charges will be
withheld. Must be returned in original box with all instructions and
miscellaneous parts in suitable condition for resale to receive full
refund. All
refunds (returned in original box with all instructions and
miscellaneous parts) over 30 days old are subject to a 20% restocking
fee. For any ancillary items missing there will be a 30% restocking
fee.
