Four different approaches
to having
Directional Control and Sounds for your loco.

Approach 1. The simpler way:
Use a full fledged
QSI reverse unit along with a $5 plug in whistle or horn board.

Approach 2. The more realistic way.
Use a full fledged QSI reverse unit along with a QS Hooter (Diesel) or Tooter (Steamer)

The Hooter and Tooter require a bell button as well as a whistle button for complete setup and full use.

The whistle/horn will be available for immediate use via your whistle button.
Later, acquire a bell button to activate and deactivate the bell.

Approach 3. After Market Starter Sets. Adds motor or steams sounds to be more realistic, yet retains a simple method of operation. Includes your choice of reverse unit.

The OEM systems offered respond to both the Whistle and Bell buttons.
See Available OEM Chips for sound set choices.

Approach 4. The more realistic & complete sounds way:
Use an OEM reverse unit
(to reduce reverse unit cost) with a Sound System Kit plugged in.
