After Market Sound System Prices
The full fledged, user installable sounds way:
1) Select a QSI Sound System, 2 ways to go: A) After Market Three Board (install it yourself on the QSI Reverse Unit of your Choice) B) Two Board (installed for you). See "Supported Hobby Shops", choose a state and look for "QSI Qualified Installer", or contact STR.
2) QSI After Market 3 board Sound System with your choice of Sound Set. Kit includes board, chip, and power supply, speaker, battery and instructions. Must be plugged into a QSI Reverse unit of your choice; purchased separately (except ACRU-E). See: AC&DC Motor Reverse Units and then select either AC Motor Reverse Units or DC Motor Reverse Units.
3) QS2p-XXX(P or F) $189 QSI After Market 3 board Sound System with your choice of QS2p Sound Set. Kit set as above.
4) Replacement boards: priced without sound set chip: Top boards: "QS1C5". Has the 237 micro Processor, used Flat: $50 Folded: Add $5 to the above. QS2p latest level chip, D or E level: $35.Note: Some D level chips were nevr reworked to E level.
5) After Market "QS1C4" Has the 233 micro Processor, used. Not compatible with QS2p chips.
6) All earlier versions of the After Market top board have been scrapped due to the inability to economically re-initialize them. For those converting from a working QS1 board, a $10 credit is issued for turning one in for each QS1C5 (QSI or MTH) After Market Sound board purchased, either separately or in conjunction with a QSI Sound System. This discount available by request when ordering.
7) QS3-XXX(P or F) $219 A very few are still available QSI After Market 3 board Sound System with your choice of QS-3000 Sound Set. Kit set equipped same as the QS2p, above. Must be plugged into a QSI Reverse unit of your choice; purchased separately (except ACRU-E).

All QS1, QS2 Boards & Chips are obsolete, and not available, nor economically repairable.
All OEM, Proto One, Proto Plus, Proto Deluxe and Proto Deluxe II Chips are obsolete. Many are available. Call.
11) QS2p Revision D or E: $35 Price of selected obsolete chip will be deducted from the QS2p chip price for your sound kit cost.
